Specializing in medical and research facilities, Duffin Construction is a San Francisco-based commercial construction company founded in 1999. Originally from Country Antrim, Ireland where Stephen Duffin completed a carpentry apprenticeship while completing a skills and trades course and earning qualifications from the City and Guilds of London Institution in craft design technology and construction management.

Stephen moved to San Francisco in 1992 and began working with a notable San Francisco Construction Company where he continued to gain experience and considerable knowledge in all fields of construction, from high end offices to custom built homes.

​In addition to his decades of construction experience and his love of building and architecture, he has developed a clear sense of his client’s needs and has a keen eye for detail. These qualities shine though in his projects and in the success of his business.

Stephen works closely with commercial project managers and subcontractors to ensure that all projects stay on time and within budget, while offering a clean, safe job site. All of this is accomplished with impeccable quality and craftsmanship.
